Massimo Treffiletti

GENERAL MANAGER

Graduated in Law in 1990. Massimo gained thirty years of experience in the insurance sector where he held various positions of responsibility in the National Association of Insurance Companies. There, he held the role of claims and anti-fraud manager and represented the insurance sector in dozens of conferences and television broadcasts.
He has gained a deep knowledge of the dynamics of the liability insurance market, both in institutional relations and in relations with stakeholders with whom it has been managing cooperate relationships for years.
WORK EXPERIENCE

2019 – Present General Manager METAKOL SRL

As part of Insurtech, commercial promotion of an innovative image validation system (both video and photos) for use by insurance companies, rental companies, assessors and car repairers.
2008 – 2019 Manager responsible for CARD, Associative Agreements, Anti-fraud ANIA (National Association of Insurance Companies).

 

  • Responsible for the CARD Convention
  • Delegate for the representation of the Association in institutions (Guarantee Fund for Road Victims, IVASS, Insurance Europe, Ministry of Economic Development)
  • Delegate for the representation of the Association at media events (Conferences, television and radio broadcasts, interviews in newspapers, etc.)
  • Delegate for the representation of the Association in industrial relations with associations of car repairers and insurance experts
  • Creator of new procedures for the settlement of claims with particular reference to the CARD Convention
  • Promoter and organizer of training initiatives for settlement networks

 

2004 – 2008 Executive Responsible for Claims of the CID Consortium (Direct Compensation Agreement)

Responsible for relations with insurance companies adhering to the Convention for direct compensation.
1991 – 2004 Responsible for relations with insurance companies adhering to the Convention for direct compensation.

Teaching experiences

  • 2013-2014 Lecturer in the postgraduate course in supplementary health insurance law and supplementary pension at the University of Milan
  • 2014 Lecturer at the Master in Insurance Fraud at the “Luiss” University of Rome
  • 2016-2017 Project lecturer in the postgraduate course in insurance law at the European University of Rome.
